Dear
Pauline:
Thank you for handling the reservations and messages from our classmates and
sharing the information with us. Thank you also to Mary Ellen and Nancy for
hosting and organizing the get-together. I am sorry that I am unable to be
present for the gathering and that I missed the previous celebration.
Hopefully I will make the next one.
For those of you who have not heard, I had kidney failure almost four years
ago, and have not worked since then. Eight months ago I was blessed with the
miracle of a kidney from a live donor. I am coming along great, but am
still under medical care.
My donor, a colleaque for 25 years, is doing fine. I was able to express my
gratitude to him in a small way by establishing a scholarship for migrant
children in his honor.
Bob has worked in migrant education through the State University of New York
at Oneonta for many years. His generous gift has no measure. I would encourage
each of you to consider such a gift if your life circumstances should present
this opportunity.
While I have not seen many of you in many years, I have fond memories of my
days at Nazareth and often wonder what has happened to many of you. For those
who manage to send a note to let us know where and how you are, thank you.
Hopefully Pauline or someone elese will be able to share with those unable to
be present in South Carolina with an update of information after the beach
party. Have a great time.
Sharon Kehoe
